The 17th annual Truman Run 5K will again be a benefit for Nativity of Mary School, Knights of Columbus Charities and Sunshine Center, all located in Independence, Missouri. The Knights of Columbus and Cockerell & McIntosh Pediatrics have teamed up to make this year's race better than ever. There will be medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group, music by Music Masters and plenty of food and drink from Nature's Pantry to help make this year's event a truly special Kansas City race!
The 2010 Truman Run 5K will be held on May 8, 2010 and will begin promptly at 8:00am. The race starts and finishes at the former Sunshine Center building located at 607 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64050. You may park one block west of the start/finish line at the Community of Christ Temple parking lot. Get there early to avoid road closures around the course.
